Jorge Schettini is a professional PADI instructor (#428145) and Master Scuba Diver with 10 years of diving experience locally in Massachusetts and around the world. He has taught many students from “intro to scuba” to “rescue diver” and several PADI specialties, including Drysuit, the most popular in Massachusetts. He became an avid underwater photographer and his passion took him to photograph turtles and nudibranchs in Hawaii, sharks in Mexico, US Virgin Island, and Turks and Caicos, Mantas Rays in New Zealand and more recently explore Cenotes in Mexico.

During his surface intervals, he earned a Bachelor Degree in Genetic (1996) and also a PhD in Biological Sciences (Immunology) in 2002. In 2014 he moved to Boston to continue his research career.
